Åsa Nordgren is the CEO of Great Connection Inc. Åsa specializes in digital media, consumer behavior and sales, marketing and PR.
Åsa has worked in the area of new media and business development for the last 13 years. Her special knowledge and skills comes from the experience in working with a range of media, including the Internet, mobile, TV and print.

Previously, Åsa worked as the Director of New Business Development at Metronome Film and Television (Endemol Scandinavia). In 2004, she founded Mobpal Mobile Relations and served as the CEO until it was acquired in 2006. From 2001 to 2004, she worked as the Business Innovation Manager from start-up to launch of the Mobile Operator 3 in Scandinavia. Åsa has also worked as a Strategy and Management Consultant specializing in New Media and Business Models at Connecta/Adcore 1999-2001. From 1996 to 1999, she was the Director of Studies and a Professor at the Public Relations Master’s Program at the Mid-Sweden University.

In addition, Åsa founded Communicare, an International Media and Communications Seminar event in 1997, served as a Board Member of the Swedish Public Relations Association for nine years and of Kvadrat Holding AB, an IT and Management Consultancy, for four years. In 2002, she was a weekly columnist for Finance Vision, the second largest financial paper in Scandinavia. She was elected to participate in the “Visionaries,” top 100 innovators in Sweden, Swedish Knowledge Foundation, 2001-2002 and to the Thought Leaders Program, Confederation of Swedish Enterprises, 2003-2004. Åsa is an appreciated speaker and have almost 1000 hours of lecturing experience.
Åsa holds a Degree in Media and Communication Theory and Management from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden and Leeds, UK.
