Brian Kelly is a regulatory lawyer at Covington & Burling, whose practice focuses on food and drug law in the EU. He has written and advised extensively on regulatory issues in the eHealth area. Mr Kelly’s advice focuses on health information regulation, borderline determinations (medicines/medical device/software issues), healthcare laws and pricing/reimbursement. He has also advised on EU and national laws governing clinical research, data protection, the regulatory status of borderline products, regulatory aspects of mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and collaborative arrangements and is an honorary lecturer at University College London. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Kelly was an award-winning medical journalist.
