Day One of the Mobile Healthcare Industry Summit 2010 saw David Gordon from Intel winning an iPad in a lucky draw. The prize was sponsored by one of the summit's media partners, 3G Doctor. The University Mobile Healthcare Challenge, held at the end of the day, prior to the Harley Street event, saw ten representatives from world-leading universities taking to the stage and presenting what is unique about the mobile health R&D that they are pioneering. The winners were announced on the following day. Nils Masgard, CEO, iDoc, bagged the first prize on behalf of Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden. The second prize went to Dr Thomas Brennan, Research Assistant, Centre of Excellence in Personalised Healthcare, Oxford University's Institute of Biomedical Engineering. The third prize went to Dr Trishan Panch, Strategy Lead, Sana Mobile Team, representing MIT and mHealth Alliance award winner.
